WHEN THINGS DON'T MAKE SENSE

What's up wonderful, amazing, sweet and lovely people. How are you all doing today? I hope you're all having an amazing day today and are not letting anyone steal your joy. Welcome to Maryam's Joyful Life. Today is a beautiful day. Thank you all for being a part of my joyful world.

Have you ever experienced a season where everything didn't make sense? Are you currently experiencing a season where everything doesn't make sense? If you have, chances are you got out of it and learned some valuable lessons that are now gems that you cherish and can share with others who are currently going through that type of season. Today's post is about trusting and surrendering to God when things don't make sense.

There are times in life when everything don't make sense anymore. Times when you put in all the right actions and take the right steps and implement the right advice but nothing seems to work like you'd like. For most people, at this point is where they give up. In fact, most people quit at the first sight of an adversity but you are NOT most people. I am NOT most people. I have discovered in my experience, that when things don't make sense is when I need to rely completely on God. After all, He lives outside of the realm of the senses. God is good. Everything He does is perfect. If we can learn to trust God in the season of obscurity, we will soon realize that every obstacle is an opportunity for God to defy our senses and perform a miracle.

I constantly find myself striving to do more, be more and give more, to the point where I get so tired and worn out and angry. My anger stems from one of two things; not resting when am tired or not getting what I expected. My goal now is to live life fully aware of how I am feeling. I want to rest when I need rest and I want to give when I want to but I can't be compulsive to the point of breaking.

It is always good to give our best to whatever God has placed in our hands. However, let's not fall into the trap of  being too hard on ourselves, when we don't get the result we expected our actions to produce. After all, God is the one who brings the harvest. We can only do so much with our limited energy but God can do above and beyond what we could ever imagine or dream of, if we but surrender.

I guess, what I'm trying to say is we need to learn to surrender to God more often and willingly. Even while we are giving our best to every project we may have, let's still be conscious of God's unlimited ability to multiply every effort we put towards achieving our goals.

I choose to always be conscious of God's presence and grace. I choose to rely on God's wisdom when I can't make sense of what is happening around me. One thing remains, He will NEVER fail!

I encourage you today, no matter what the situation, no matter what the circumstance, be encouraged and realize that God is always with you and ready to help you as you acknowledge His Omnipresent Omnipotence. After all, God is Omniscient. He has all the knowledge and wisdom. There's nothing that God can't see us through.

Thank you for reading my blog today.

With gratitude,

Maryam
