Today is about being a mom. I am a mom, everyday and every night and I’ll always be a mom. Being a strong mom takes courage, grit and perseverance and I am so grateful I’ve got these qualities. In fact, everybody is born with these qualities but laziness keeps us from utilizing these qualities.
Being a mom means sacrifice, especially sleep. Sometimes, all I want to do is sleep and do nothing lol. Ha! I have noticed that anytime my mind is dwelling on the “doing nothing” part,
I am actually visualizing doing something and the kids give me something to do. It’s either someone pees without thinking about going to use the toilet or someone breaks something or they are fighting. Which by the way, one of these issues will get me doing something again 😩. I just want to sleep in peace without having to break a fight or settle a quarrel or even clean up poop. Do you get my point?
If not, here’s the point: don’t focus on what you don’t want, focus on what you DO want. When you focus on the absence or possibilities of things turning out the way you don’t want, you’re telling the thing you don’t want, that you want it.
Learn to think about sleep and rest and not about what could get in the way of your sleep and rest.
We attract what we are vibrating with. So, if your thoughts and emotions are focused on the disturbance, you’ll be disturbed. That’s it!
My kids are lovely and loud and sometimes crazy too. I love them anyway! I’m a mom and I’m learning to focus on the rest and not on the poop 💩 lol...
Don’t let anyone steal your joy!
