Here's a message from Pastor Paul Enenche that blessed me. I would like to share it with with you. He talked about keeping your eyes on God always. When you fix your eyes on the Lord, you're helped and protected. When you keep your eyes on God., you're safe and preserved. Here are the points he shared.

1. To look up to God is to be lifted in life. Psalm 34 vs. 5

2. To look up to God is to lay hold of help. To look away from God is to lose grip of help. Help exists with God. Hebrews 4: 16 The Throne of God is the depot of help.

3. To look up to God is to be shielded and preserved from danger and disaster in life. Preservation is possible when we look to God. Looking away from God makes vulnerability inevitable. Never be distracted by the storms of life to take your focus off God.  The things that happen want you to look away from God and at the trouble. Psalm 46:2 and Matthew 14:29

No matter what the situation, no matter the circumstance, no matter the trouble, always fix your focus on God.

HELP IS ALWAYS WITH YOU

Today, make up your mind that you're not going to allow negativity rule over you. Make up your mind that you're going to let God fill your consciousness with power. No matter how dark your life may be right now, a little bit of light will chase the darkness out. You have light within you. Focus on it. Do it little by little. Ask the Angels around you to fill you up with light. There are angels around you always. Speak to the Angels and ask them to show up for you and they will.

The world wants you to feel helpless and hopeless. The world is helpless and hopeless. You, however, are surrounded. You have the power the speak over your life. Do it and watch things transform in your life. I pray for you today, may God show you mercy in Jesus Name. Amen!

LESSONS OF LIFE MY CHILDREN TEACH ME

So, I'm a mom. I have two amazing kids who teach me more about life than I could ever learn anywhere else. Life with them is an adventure and everyday is a new experience. My son is a music lover. He loves his guitar. I ask him to play me some music and he is delighted to play and sing to me. I love him and am amazed at his wisdom and strength. My daughter is a dancer and an act. She loves to dance and demonstrate movements that people and animals make. She is fun. Both my kids are an experience by themselves. They love to play together and when they fight, you'd think they never get along. I love how fast and easy they get along after a fight. It's so sweet to watch. I wish adults would be more like children. When there's a fight, take a break and then let it go. 

So, Le'Veon and Zozo have been calling themselves doctors for a while. I hear Le'Veon say "mama I'm Doctor Le'Veon." And I say, "yes baby, you are Doctor Le'veon." I see the joy in him when I agree with him. Then Zozo comes along and says "I am Doctor Zozo." Of course I say "yes baby, you're Doctor Zozo." Zoe lights up with a big smile. I just love it! 

I thought about getting them a doctor play set to practice with. I found  the perfect set for girls. It came in pink. Here's the link I got it from: https://amzn.to/2GX9zQ1 Check it out.

The picture above is a screenshot of the product. It has many pieces and they are safe for kids 2 years and above. Zoe loves this play set. Of course Le'Veon was Zoe's first patient. It was hilarious to watch. After Levy got a checkup, it seemed like the prescription was an unending use of plaster stickers on Levy's leg. Zoe kept placing stickers on Le'Veon and it was hilarious. Levy of course got tired of the whole thing and wanted it to stop.

It is really fun watching my kids play and interact with different educational toys and each other. They are so present in the moment, that the future is irrelevant. We need to be more childlike. Pour our hearts to whatever we are doing in the present and let everything else go. I believe that as we do this, we save ourselves from unnecessary worries and stress.

DON'T LET UNREALISTIC EXPECTATIONS GIVE YOU A STROKE

Have you ever allowed expectations to scare or intimidate you? Have you ever heard someone or a group of people say multiple things that they expect from you or of you and you get so scared and wonder why could anyone ever expect so much of you? I have been there and still am going through it.

First, don't let anyone make you feel like you have to show up for them at your own risk. Don't ever allow other people's unrealistic expectations make you loose sleep. You are human, you will make mistakes. You will disappoint people. You will step on people's toes whether intentionally or unintentionally it will happen. Don't allow that steal your joy. Make a decision to do and give your best and try to follow through. However, when you fail to meet their expectations, don't fret or think that life is over because it ain't. You are human and you also have expectations, many people have failed you and they are going to fail you.

 There are so many people out there who would rather you meet all their needs than yours. If you have been kind enough to always be there for them and give them all that they require of you. When you're not able to be who they want you to be anymore, they start putting you down and treating you bad. 

Such people are the reason why you do your best and let the rest go. God will not fault you for refusing to be used or manipulated. God still loves you. There are so many people out there who would appreciate the good you do for them. Don't waste your good on someone or people who will NEVER appreciate you or the good you do. This is not to say to stop helping them completely. You can still help them but don't stretch yourself thin for them.

I pray that God delivers you and me from unrealistic expectations in Jesus. Amen!!

FALL IS KIND OF MY FAVORITE SEASON

 What's up wonderful, amazing, sweet and lovely people. How are you all doing tonight? I hope you're having an amazing and are not letting anyone steal your joy. Welcome to Maryam's Joyful Life. Today is a beautiful day. Thank you for joining me.

We are in fall and I am loving it. I am loving it because the leaves are golden and the trees are shedding their leaves preparing for the spring. When you look at how hard the trees are shedding, you might be tempted to think that they may never gain back their leaves but you and I know that when spring rolls around, the trees would be blooming and looking brand new.

This kinda makes me think about life and the different seasons we experience. When the season we are in is not favorable, we are mostly tempted to think that it would always remain that way. But I am here with a word from Heaven. Your current season of hard times won't last always. You're actually getting prepared for something far more amazing than you've ever experienced before. You, just don't give up. The enemy wants us to quit, each time there's a challenge we have to face, but I know that I am talking to warriors who will not quit.

Fix your eyes on the Lord, know that you are surrounded. There's no difficulty too hard for your God to handle. Just give it all to God. Surrender completely and watch God turn every mess into a MIRACLE!

I pray that God shows you mercy and grants all of your heart desires in Jesus Name. Amen!

HAVE YOU TRIED SPEAKING TO YOUR CHAINS?

I have a word for you and me today. Have you ever found yourself complaining  about what is wrong with your life and you just seem to go on and on with it? You and I know that complaining won't change anything but we keep it going like it does anyways. After all complaining is what everyone does. It is true everyone complains. It is natural for us to want to complain. Truthfully, I have found out in my experience that the more I complained, the more things happen to me that make me complain. 

It becomes this cycle of non-stop complaining. It is not pleasant but I find it habitual. Here's a new formula that I have been using lately: I speak to the situation. I command whatever the issue may be, to bow to the name of Jesus. I am learning to replace praise and thanksgiving with complaining AND IT WORKS WONDERS!

Chains can symbolize any unfavorable event in your life, that you want to see changed. Command those chains to break in the name of the Lord God Almighty and go off giving thanks. As you do this, God will show up for you and you will see the chains fall every time. You don't do it once and expect it to be over. You pray without ceasing. As long as you are in this flesh, you will have troubles but Your God has already provided a way of escape. Use it!

WHEN GOD SEEMS FAR AWAY|| HE IS NOT

Have you ever felt like God was far away from you? Have you ever prayed so hard and got exhausted from the prayers but still felt like God was far away? I have and I understand  how it  feels, if you're currently experiencing that type of situation.

God is never far from you. God is always a prayer away. The reason you feel like God is far is because of the attachment you have to the flesh or senses. You have been so focused on the logic and facts that your senses see and have separated yourself from the presence of God. By separating, I don't mean cut yourself off. I mean you have filled your mind and spirit with the distractions of the outside world and allowed what is not real to become real to you,  to the point where you are overwhelmed and can't be still enough to experience God in that moment.

God will never leave us nor forsake us. We allow distractions to fill the space in us where God dwells and become afraid of the shadows of falsehood we created. God is always a prayer away. I have learned to just be quiet and go into stillness, with my eyes shut, whenever I feel like God is far away. I find out every time this happens, it is because I am trying too hard to fix or control everything or I am trying to please people.

We can't please people and God at the same time. No matter how hard we try, people will never 100% agree with us. So, we need to learn to be present and focused more on what God wants us to do. If our hearts are stayed on God and we delight ourselves in Him, loving people would be natural to us. You and I have to come to terms with the fact that we WILL NEVER BE ACCEPTED 100% by people and that is OKAY!

What we should concern ourselves with anyways is the fact that God cares and approves of us. It is utter suffering living life to please people. I have made up my mind and renew my mind each day, that I will focus on pleasing God and not people. My peace is very important to me and in order for me to enjoy it, I have to focus on God.

MY KIDS AND I FINALLY TESTED MY DREAM CAR|| YUKON DENALI 2021

So, I have a dream car that I have been loving for a while. Every year, I say I'm going to get the latest model. I really like my truck but I fancy a Yukon Denali. Do you have a dream car?

I was so interested in the 2020 model of the Denali, so much so that I have it on my vision board. Until I came across the 2021 model. So, when I first saw the new design and features, it took me a second to get used to it. 

Right now, I absolutely love it! My kids love it too. When we had the opportunity to check it out, it felt really good. The space and the three row seating are amazing. There's a lot of leg room at the back row and a lot of storage in the captain's cabin- aka my cabin lol.

I love this SUV. I have been telling myself that the engineers and designers who put this vehicle together are geniuses. How did they know to put all the features I love in a car in one amazing SUV. So amazing.

Look at that big smile on myself. I felt like the Captain in this 2021 Yukon Denali. Now, I am waiting to test drive it. 

I have decided that I am going to move towards the direction of what I want. I'm not holding back or backing down. If I have to go test drive it, I will. If I have to get pictures of it and paste all over my house, I will. I am learning that the best way to bring the things you would love into your life is to surround yourself with it. This could mean pictures of your dream in a place where you can see it everyday or just simply writing it down over and over again, daily. The big part is feeling grateful for it.

Whatever you are grateful for will increase in your life. Better yet, the more things you are grateful for, you will have more things to be grateful.

There's nothing God cannot do.

I really feel blessed.

Have an amazing month and don't let your dream intimidate you. God can and will make your dream a reality.

STAYING GRATEFUL IN SPITE OF THE CURRENT SEASON

When I look at my life, it's easy to find many things to be upset about. People to be angry at and situations to be resentful for but I choose not to. The reason is that every hurtful thought produces a hurtful feeling and every hurtful feeling sets a series of hurtful events and I would rather not have that.

The trick of the enemy is to get us focused on the things that didn't go right and you and I know that when you're thinking about negative things, you tend to act negative. The enemy is a trickster. He is relentless but you have to be more relentless by becoming aware of your feeling every moment. A great teacher once said, you can't think be happy and sad at the same time. This is so true. One of the fastest way to see what vibration you're in, is to ask yourself how you are feeling. If you're feeling bad, it's usually because you're thinking negative thoughts. 

To switch your vibration from negativity to positivity, you have to be grateful. It's as easy as listing the things you are grateful for. What is that one thing you're thankful for this moment, think on it. This simple exercise, will shift your vibes from negative to positive. Please try it.

I have decided that I am going to be grateful no matter what. If I have any chance of experiencing a better season in my life, I have to focus my attention on the good. I've got to be thankful to God for His goodness and only then, will I see more good in my life.

No matter the situation, no matter the pain, no matter the struggle, give praise to God. Praise will get you out!

GOD IS FAITHFUL|| HE WON'T FORSAKE YOU

I pray for you, that my God bless you! My God shows you favor like He shows me. My God enlarge your territory and give you peace in all areas of your life, In Jesus Name. You will celebrate. I declare that you will dance the dance of celebration. People shall celebrate with you. You are going to look back and remember these words because testimonies of God's goodness, have just landed at your house. No devil can steal your joy.

You are protected and covered by the Blood of Jesus. Your life is protected and nothing shall by any means harm you. I declare Angelic covering over you. Every good work God has begun in your life, He will perfect!

You are about to scream for joy. God is about to overwhelm you with good news. I hear good news all around you.

I believe that you will see and enjoy the goodness of God in the land of the living!

GOD IS NOT INTIMIDATED BY YOUR REQUESTS

Have you ever felt like what you were asking God was so much bigger than what God could give you? Have you given up on asking God for something that seems so Big in your eyes that it scares you? Is there something you would really want God to do for you that doubt and fear are keeping you from receiving?

Let me tell you a story. My son was asking me to buy him a grown people's car recently. He told me the color he wanted and asked to be taken to the dealership to drive it. You know, when he first asked for it, I thought he wanted a small car. He loves his cars. Cars are his thing. He has a collection of a variety of cars. So, my thought was that he wanted one of those small cars but boy, was I wrong. The more I asked him about it, the more he explained that he wanted a big red car and Zozo wanted a big blue car. I made many attempts to tell him that he's not big enough for it. 

I think we should be more child-like in our approach to God. When we desire God's blessings, we shouldn't allow the first sign of oppositions to keep us from asking for what we want. God's blessings are for us. He never keeps the away from His. We are his children and the sheep of his abundant pasture. We have got to be persistent.

Well, I ended up taking my son to the dealership and had him sit in a big red car just to show him that he wasn't big enough for it. He had the experience and although he wasn't tall enough for it, he was really upset with me for not letting him have the car and drive it lol.

One day, at the right time, Le'Veon will be old enough and big enough for a big red car but not now.

God cares for you and you have to understand that whatever you are asking for, God can give you.

 However, stop squeezing God into a box of what and how you think He should bless you. Don't limit God's resources based on what you think you deserve or don't deserve. Open yourself up to God's limitless blessings today.

I pray that the spirit of your understanding will be enlightened to know the vastness of God's love and omnipresent provision In Jesus Name. Amen!!
