MY BIGGEST TAKEAWAYS FROM THIS PAST WEEK

Good morning all. It's a beautiful Saturday morning and I am thankful to be here. How are you and what was your favorite part about this past week?! Remember, to comment on my blog, you have to be subscribed to my blog. Welcome to Maryam's Joyful Life! Today is a wonderful day and I'm so grateful that you could stop by today.

So this week was full of so many activities for me and I wanted to share some memorable moments with you today. To start off, my baby boy and I got new haricuts and we really like it. We are very thankful for our new barber and he definitely does a great job! If you live in the Atlanta area, stop by Lovejoy, Ga Walmart and checkout Manny. Let him know I sent you :). This picture with me and Le'Veon was taken after our haircut. 

Since Le'Veon's graduation from Kindergarten, he'd been asking to be taken to Outback steakhouse. Zozo couldn't let me have peace without asking to be taken to Outback steakhouse either. They both drove me crazy, with their persistence. Anyways, we finally went to Outback in Stockbridge, Ga and it was quite the experience. We had an amazing waiter and he took amazing care of us. The kids asked for steak but they didn't eat much of it. I had to threaten them in order for them to take a little bite. They ate the bread and fries though. The strawberry lemonade was amazing and I recommend it. I also recommend their potato soup, which comes as a side when you order a steak dinner. I ordered Newyork T-bone steak. I may have forgotten the actual name lol but the picture above is my steak. It was delicious and I devoured the whole thing. I also enjoyed their cesar salad. It was amazing too. 

Here they are, my world and loves. They got what they persistently asked for. This reminds me to not give up when it seems like my prayers are not being answered. My kids teach me a lot about God and me. God never intended for us to give up and live our lives feeling unloved and poor. My kids kept asking until they got what they wanted. We as adults need to not giveup when it seems like what we've been praying for is being delayed. We should rather get excited and ready for what we've asked God for.

Last Sunday, church was packed because my pastor Real Talk Kim had a retreat with her mentorship program RTK Inner Circle and it was amazing. The overflow was packed at church and I couldn't help praying for a bigger church building. I will definitely support that dream. During the week, our "What is My Purpose Program," on YouTube was still on and my breakfast was paid for by my team of producers :). This picture was from one of our visits to eat breakfast at chick fil a. 

I have been very blessed and empowered from the last three weeks of spiritual service to thousands of people, at 6:00 AM each morning. We prayed, we healed, we were delivered and we raised our vibrations, ready for the blessings that we have asked for and that have already been given to us by Jesus Christ. God is so good and I am always ready and excited to share my testimonies. I have learned that God also heals others when we share our testimony with them. As we share our testimonies, their faith is stirred up and they also receive their blessing.

Here's the last video from a much needed three weeks program, where I discovered new things about myself that I am grateful for. I am also very excited for what God has in store next and I say "YES!"

HOW TO STOP DREADING MONDAYS

 

Good morning my sweet friends. how grateful I am to have you read my blog today. It is such an honor to be a part of your world. Thank you Thank you Thank you! Today is a wonderful day and I couldn't wait to share some ideas with you all. So it is a known scientific fact that most heart attacks happen on Monday. People dreading their jobs and fearing the massive amount of work to be done that the fear of what is expected of them paralyzes them. This is a fact that leads to many health issues. Because of this global fear consciousness towards Mondays, even people who don't have to go to work feel the fear and pressure from the day. I know this from experience and I have deviced a plan that works to overcome this fear.

Are you ready for this plan?

1. Night before Monday, pray and command your day ahead. Declare that your day is going to be amazing, full of wonderful things and you are going to feel great and energized.

2. Meditate when you get up in the morning and speak powerful words over your life.

3.   Study your Bible and actually believe that God is for you and not just for our forefathers and mothers of faith. God is still performing miracles right NOW!

4. Do some form of exercise. Go for a walk or a run. Do something that activates your blood cells and muscles. Shakeoff old stale energy and make yourself receptive to new clean energy.

5. Drink some water and smile!

LEVEON'S KINDERGARTEN GRADUATION PRESENT

 

Happy Saturday my sweet friends. Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I appreciate the time you took to be here. This weekend has been a very fun one for me and my family. I just wanted to share the joy with everyone of you today. So I hope you are all having a great day and are not letting anyone or thing steal your joy!

Here's the purpose for this blog. It is to acknowledge the goodness of God in this moment. My son Le'Veon graduated Kindergarten a STRAIGH "A" student. Zoe and I are so proud of him. Le'Veon is very committed to being great at everything he does and that's one of his strengths. He prides himself in doing very well at anything he sets his mind to. This quality he got from me :). Haha I am an African parent and all those who can relate will understand.

In order to celebrate his accomplishment, I surprised him with a trip to swim and relax at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis in downtown Atlanta. It was a very fulfilling and enjoyable trip for Levy and Zozo and mama :).

DEAR UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT|| SAVE SOIL MOVEMENT SUPPORT FROM A MOM

 

Respected Honorable Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack,

As a member of the UN Convention to Combat Desertification,  the United States’s commitment to address soil extinction is commendable. Over the last several decades, some progress has happened to reverse soil degradation and restore soil health, but we have a long way to go.

As we near the UNCCD’s COP 15 conference, where leaders of the world will soon meet in Cote d’Ivoire, an opportunity is presented for every nation in the world to single mindedly commit to one agenda - that of ensuring a minimum 3-6% organic content in soil. This simple yet powerful commitment will prevent desertification, reverse climate change, preserve biodiversity, forward goals of food security, improve nutrition, augment water security, and slow down migration.

I have been following and touched by the recent worldwide movement launched by Sadhguru, a yogi and global leader from India, who has undertaken a 30,000 km lone motorcycle journey to focus attention on the need to Save Soil. The ensuing people’s movement has already garnered the support of hundreds of millions around the world, including thousands of influencers. Many UN agencies and other reputed organizations have also partnered with the movement.

I commit to you that I will steadfastly stand by you in support as you enact policy to enhance the organic content of the United States’s soils to a minimum of 3-6%. This conference in Cote d’Ivoire presents an opportunity to make history by turning our world back from the brink of soil extinction.

A Voice to Save Soil from the United States

LE'VEON IS SIX YEARS OLD TODAY!!!

 

Good morning wonderful, amazing, sweet and lovely people. Thank you for checking out my blog today. It is a beautiful day and I am grateful for this day. My son is six today. What?! I am so grateful for this day. My life changed for the better when Le'Veon came into my life that beautiful early morning on May the 4th 2016. I am forever changed and grateful! God is good.

Le'Veon brought joy and sweetness into my life when he made his grand entrance 6 years ago and I am forever changed and grateful for it. I remember dedicating him to God after he came out of my belly and askign God to shield him and use him for His Glory. Today, I am so grateful because I see God's hand on Le'Vy and I couldnt be more grateful. God does answer prayers. I have seen the goodness of God in my life since becoming a mom again after losing my first child. I have seen God move mountains, crush devils and open new doors for me. I am so thankful!

I have complee trust and faith in God because just looking at my son, it is a reminder of God's faithfulness! Le'Veon is handsome, very smart, loving, happy, intelligent, genius and amazing. I know he will change the world. God our creator will use him for His glory. Le'Veon is greatness personified.

MY DAUGHTER IS FOUR YEARS OLD

 

Good morning wonderful, amazing, sweet and lovely friends. hope this blog meets you well. Today is a wonderful day and I am very happy to share this blog with you all. It is always my goal to bring joy to you each time I post my blog.

So my daugher is 4!!! WOW! Life has been amazing these last four years. Of course I cannot forget the fact that I have had major life changing events within the last 2 years but common, who hasn't? The whole world has experienced some type of major shift too. 

In all the changes, one thing has remained; God has been true. It's always working in my favor one way or another. That's the meaning I choose to give everything. This meaning is powerful!

Zoe is smart, amazing, lovely, wonderful, expressive and a joy to raise and watch grow each day. You know, people often get scared when they go through a divorce, a separation, or a heartbreak and have responsibilities that they have to care for by themselves. For a lot of people, that's a very vulnerable place to be because there are evil minded people who would want to take advantage of your vulnerability to exploit you BUT you still have POWER of choice. Whatever you choose to do, you have the power to make it good or bad. 

When my kids' dad left and humiliated me and also tried to manipulate me; I saw through the whole situation. I didn't believe that I was that weak to allow trash crush me. I stood and still stand my ground in the sitaution. When Hunter neglected his responsibilities, I stepped up and allowed God be my protector and guide. Well, just like the Bible says "The Lord in the midst of thee is MIGHTY," I let God be MIGHTY in my life and truly life has been wonderful.

On this fourth birthday, I couldn't help but count my blessings. My kids are smart, happy, wonderful and amazing. Most of all, I am raising powerful God-centered beings who will ALWAYS be the head and never the tail. I encourage every mom and dad to trust God in all things. God is the provider, God is the protector and God is the preserver. Don't anchor to people but to God ALWAYS.

I live happy and joyfully each day because I do my spiritual practice and stay connected to my God. Without God, I wouldn't be here and my daughter wouldn't either. We are loved and surrounded by God's Divine presence and that's the real GIFT this fourth birthday has taught me.

I encourage you to stop chasing things and people and start chasing God. How do you chase God? In prayer and meditation and thanksgiving. Never try to force things. Know that no thing and no one can stop the blessings that God has for you. The more you allow harmony and faith in your heart, the more the blessings flow. God is FOR YOU!

Happy Birthday to my baby girl; ZOZO. Baby, I'm proud of you and love you soooo much!

THEY WANTED ME TO KEEP SUFFERING

 

Good morning wonderful, amazing, sweet and lovely people. I hope this blog meets you well. Today is a beautiful day. thank you all for stopping by today.

I have had many painful experiences in life and I have learned a lot of lessons along the way, which have helped me overcome. When people feel sorry for you, they unconsciously keep you stuck in the hole you're trying to get out of. Those who create an impact are those who see you in the light of your healing. They see you healed and help you faciliate that process by supporting you with prayer and whatever resources they have. The greatest gift you can give yourself is the gift of belief. See your freedom and hold on to it. I have had many people who actually expected what I was going through, to be the end of me but thank God, for his Grace.

FOUR THINGS TO DO TO HELP ANYONE OR YOURSELF WHO IS SUFFERING:

1. PRAY FOR THEM

2. SEE THEM BETTER

3. SPEAK LIKE THEY ARE ALREADY HEALED

4. KEEP YOUR MIND ON THAT IMAGE

When I say pray for them, it's not for you to cry and feel sorry for them. You've probably done that but nothing has changed. When you pray, give thanks to God for already answering your prayers for them. See, before you call, God already answered. In order for you to activate it, you have to be calm and accept that your prayer is answered. In other words, focus on the healing and solution and not the pain or trouble. Give thanks for the healing.

                                                                 SEE THEM BETTER

I know when things are nit going right with someone you love, it is easy to feel bad and cry and worry. You have perhaps done so much of that up till now. it doesn't change anything. However, if you see them healed and better, you are helping them get better. You are refusing to let the situation control you or them by CHOOSING to see them free and happy.

                                             SPEAK LIKE THEY ARE ALREADY HEALED

No matter what you do, communicate with them like they are already healed. Talk to them like they are who you wish them to be; FREED

                                               KEEP YOUR MIND ON THAT IMAGE

No matter how bad your friend's or your sitaution is, keep your eyes on the image of yourself healed. Don't ever let yourself get caught up in the bad situation. Hold the image of healing and keep giving thanks for the healing.

If you allow Anger, it will steal your joy, your peace and keep you broke. I have learned different ways to get rid of anger. I am very excited to share four techniques that can help you.

OUR VACATION TO COLORADO

 

Good afternoon, wonderful, amazing, sweet and lovely people. Thank you for checking out my blog today. I am so happy to post a blog today. Hope you all have been doing good.

The kids and I took a vacation to the mountains of Colorado. It was a very beautiful experience for all of us. During this trip, we enjoyed a lot of firsts, especially for Le'Veon and Zoe. They got to fly for the first time and saw 8 inches of snow, horses, wild turkeys and bisons. Needless to say that I was unneccessarily troubled about how they would handle flying for the first time. 

My advise to parents who are thinking about flying or going on a trip. Just do it and don't worry too much. Plan ahead, make sure you have all necessary documents you need. If local flight, you need your government id and all of your boarding passes for you and the kids. 

I prepared for our trip and brought documents I didn't need but hey, it's always better to over-prepare than under-prepare :) LOL!

Le'Veon helped Beth clean out the coral and feed the horses in the snow. He had a blast. Watch the video here:

Le'Veon was fascinated with the snow and couldn't stop playing with it. It was such a beautiful sight to see.

We went to Bishop's castle to see the wonders of the Bishop's family. Recommend for adults but not really kid's friendly because of the large holes in certain places.

We took this picture at the chapel in Bishop's castle. Apparently, you can book this as a wedding venue.

This was taken outside Bishop's castle. We made made some amazing memories during this trip and will be going back again soon.
